Vulfpeck (Ann Arbor, Michigan) are a collective of session musicians inspired by 1960's studio rhythm sections like The Wrecking Crew (a group of musicians based in Los Angeles, California who appeared on thousands of recording sessions, including acts such as The Beach Boys, Glen Campbell, The Righteous Brothers and Sonny & Cher) and The Funk Brothers (Detroit, Michigan-based studio musicians who performed the backing to most Motown recordings from 1959 to 1972).

Vulfpeck's core members are Jack Stratton (keyboards/drums/guitar), Theo Katzman (guitar/drums/vocals), Woody Goss (keyboards) and Joe Dart (bass).

They are frequently accompanied by a revolving door of exceptional talent, including Corey Wong (guitar); Antwaun Stanley (vocals); legendary guitarist, David T. Walker, who played guitar for Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five and Marvin Gaye; and Bernard Purdie, a pioneer of funk drumming, who has played with other legendary musicians, including Jack McDuff, Gene Ammons and James Brown. Grandma appears on their latest album, Mr Finish Line, released on November 7th, 2017.

Sir Darryl Farris (a.k.a. SiR) is a singer/songwriter/producer from Inglewood, California. Music runs deep in Sir's family. His mother was once a backup singer for Michael Jackson and Tina Turner. His two older brothers, Daniel and Davion Farris, wrote and produced Jaheim's 2007 hit song, "Never." His uncle, Andrew Gouché was Prince's bassist and Chaka Khan's musical director and his cousin, Tiffany Gouché is a singer/songwriter/producer  known to lay down soulful R&B grooves of her own. SiR has written/co-written songs for Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Robert Glasper and Stevie Wonder. D'Evils is from his latest album, November, which was released on Jan.19th, 2018 on Top Dawg Entertainment, and features guest appearances by Etta Bond and ScHoolboy Q.

HONNE (pronounced hon'ne) are an electronic music duo from Bow, London, England; consisting of producer, James Hatcher and producer/singer, Andy Clutterbuck. Their band name is derived from the Japanese word, 本音 hon'ne, which literally translates as "true sound," but means one's true feelings and desires. This word stands in contrast to 建前 tatemae, which refers to the appearance that one puts up in front of others, or public-face. This article gives more background on the subject. So, back to the band...

HONNE's new album, Love Me / Love Me Not will be released on August 24th, 2018, followed by a world tour starting in September. It contains twelve songs that can be split into two parts:

"‘Love Me (◑)’ tracks celebrate love, memories of growing up and loyalty from those closest to you. ‘Love Me Not (◐)’ explores love that’s been lost, wanting to go back and correct past mistakes, and those times that you just want peace of mind."

They will be releasing two songs every last Friday of each month up until the album's release. The latest track, Me & You ◑ features UK musician, Tom Misch on guitar.
