Maybe Bacon Music - January 2018

Find me every second Thursday of each month at Bevy for MAYBE BACON MUSIC. The name is a spoonerism, playing on "baby making music," since at its inception, it was a night for R&B, neo-soul, chillhop, hip-hop, future and jazzy electronic music. You know, sexy stuff, but not necessarily ALL "sex-jams" (although those do drop from time to time). MBM has since evolved, featuring a variety of music which spans a multitude of genres, played by a variety of our favorite people. We've had City-Pop with DJ Leilow, Mister Modular and SAKI; indie dance with DJ Vina and DJ Look; "ABSOLUTE BACONNERS," with Jetboy and DJ Mr. Nick playing mod, Brit-pop, Northern soul & reggae; house music with Jules Juke; classic soul and old-school with Bennie James; and a whole bunch of other goodness with Khari Saffo. All of us share a deep passion for music and a strong desire to share it with all of you! So, if you've already been; thank you very much for coming! If you haven't yet; we look forward to meeting and dancing with you!

KTUH Playlist Oct.10th, 2017

I'll be DJing alongside Leilow (Aloha Got Soul/KTUH) and SAKI (KTUH) this Thursday, Oct.12th at Bevy for MAYBE BACON MUSIC, which happens every second Thursday. Secret Record Store at Barrio Vintage, Drowning Dreamers video premiere and No Villains Left Debut

 It's a busy month of music for me, with numerous DJ gigs and live performances; including the debut of my new ska/punk band, No Villains Left. I've also started long term subbing on KTUH. You can find me on-air in my old time slot, every Tuesday, noon-3pm (Hawaii Aleutian Time) on 90.1 FM or online at ktuh.org. I'm also hosting Maybe Bacon Music, a once-a-month DJ night serving up sexy music and sizzling bacon specials from the kitchen, every 2nd Thursday at Bevy. Next MBM is on October 12th.
